Week 1 - June 27, 2010

At todays mass Father Ed announced that the actual construction will begin on July 6th. However a lot s going to happen (or already has) this week.

The following will happen:

• A fence will be placed around the front of the church blocking the main entrance. For those of us that park on Ohio Avenue, we will know have to park in the parking lot.
• The back to rows of pews will be removed, and a temporary wall will be built along the back of the church
• A section of pews along the south side (parking lot side) of the church will be removed and a temporary enterance and staircase will be built here
• 16 trees were cut down along the parking lot
• The garage will be torn down shortly to give access to construction equipment
• The first item of construction will be the foundation for the elevator
